We Need Your Help!


At Mechanicsville Elementary School, we take great pride in providing our community's children with a safe and fun environment to learn, grow, and thrive in. This also inlcudes keeping our playgrounds safe and fun for our students. Unfortunately, our playgrounds have been given a remaining lifespan of two years at most.

This has become an even more serious issue due to the closing of a section on one of the playgrounds on the week of September 9th. We need your help to build a new, safe playground for our children to play on for years to come. All donations are welcomed and greatly appreciated, with 100% of donations going towards the construction of a better, safer playground.

Welcome to the Mechanicsville Elementary School Playground Information Site. We have developed this website to provide information and updates on our progress to our families, friends, and community members. Please check back often for more information.

We'd like to offer a special thanks for the supporters and friends of the Baker family. Your generous support has humbled us and challenged us to get the new playground funded and built as soon as possible as a standing memorial to Nathan's memory.

Our Mighty Mustang Fun Run will be held on October 12, 2013. 100% of the money raised will go towards the new playground equipment.
